 Why the name change you may ask? Quite simple, it's a matter of addressing the holistic needs of our members and aligning ourselves with the international drive towards full life cycle management versus only focussing on maintenance issues.
We are also aligned with the much publicised PAS 55 standards as set out by the British Standards Institute (BSi), which talks Asset Management and Life Cycle Management. |
The Southern African Asset Management Association (SAAMA), previously known as SAMA (SA Maintenance Association) was established to promote the interests of Maintenance and Asset Management Professionals in Southern Africa. SAAMA is a registered Section 21 company (non profitable organization).
