Electric Motors convert electrical energy into Mechanical Energy. This energy is then used to drive a fan, a compressor, a pump or another rotating or oscillating part. This two day course looks at Electric motors in general but will mainly focus on Induction motors. Induction motors are now the preferred choice for industrial motors because of their simplicity, rugged construction, and relatively low manufacturing costs.Contact: Lomsy Chikumo

From manufacturing to decommissioning, transformers undergo a variety of tests which are appropriate for various stages of transformer life cycle. These tests enable us to verify that the transformer is built according to the specification and properly installed, enabling us to evaluate the condition of the transformer and estimate its remaining life in service. The results of these tests can warn us of impending failure and confirm the effectiveness of corrective or maintenance procedures.
